We're all music geeks here at Workshop; we live to unearth new music and rediscover the old. Of course, our personal tastes vary, and this page is dedicated to highlighting tracks created by our artists and composers that we just absolutely love - even outside of the office!
006 Amrit Kaur, International Acc Exec
"My selection is dedicated to a laid-back and chilled vibe with elements of smooth jazz, hip/trip hop and light beats. Channelling an ambient yet ethereal theme, these are tracks which I believe particularly create a unique and euphoric atmosphere with their collective minimalism and warm, catchy melodies. Ultimately, I aimed to put together some inspiring moods…so I hope you like them!"
Inside Audio Network, Amrit looks after music usage across several International platforms and companies. Outside of Audio Network, Amrit is a practising guitarist and works with various independent music producers and artists in South and East London.
005 - Jonathon Fisher, Emerging Territories Acc Exec
“Having spent a large part of my late adolescence stomping around the North of England, Northern Soul holds a special place in my heart. When Audio Network released this album it immediately grabbed my attention. A tribute to that classy 1960’s soul sound, and produced by the brilliant Terry Devine-King, and Steve Levine of Culture Club fame, I was hooked immediately. Produced using the equipment available to producers in the 60’s this album is steeped in authenticity and slick soul. I love it, hope you do too.”
Inside Audio Network Jon looks after music usage across Eastern Europe, and large parts of Asia & Africa. Working with some awesome brands and projects across the world. Outside Jon is an aspiring Saxophonist, and ran weekly themed music show “The Genre Show” on local Hull Radio.
004 Nick Bennett, Head of Advertising
“I went for an album rather than collection of different tracks for my selections and once you listen through you’ll understand why. Being a huge fan of afrobeat like Fela Kuti & Ebo Taylor I was really excited when we signed an album from Malian funkmaster, Guimba Kouyate.Whilst this probably won’t be appropriate for every commercial, it’s one of those amazing albums that can really take an ad to the next level and it’s also been on repeat on my ipod.”
Outside of Audio Network Nick runs the East London based Hip Hop night “Yo Mama” as well as co-running the vinyl and digital imprint “Tight Knit Records”.
003 Dragos Munteanu, Music Consultant
"For my selection I focused on funk riffs with a 1970s cinematic feel and heavy Hammond organs, my favourite sounding musical instrument by far. Settling on this theme stemmed from my discovery of how much quality genuine funk and fusion jazz can be found in the AN catalogue. In a time where analogue instrumentation finds became a rarity, the sound of live drums, organs, guitars trumpets and saxophones is just music to my ears. Really good music that is."
Outside of the office, Dragos has recently launched Workshop Radio in association with South London station, Balamii, as well as hosting his monthly party Dragos All Night Long at the Jackdaw & Star in Homerton.

002 - Harry Holmes
“This selection of AN tracks is centred around emotions. All the tracks rouse different emotions in me as I was putting the selection together. A good demonstration of how effective music can be in evoking a feeling, especially when synched to pictures. My intention wasn’t to induce a panic attack, nor to get you fist pumping at work but, just to get something stirring”….
Inside AN Harry places music mainly for TV productions (recently submitted a large number of tracks for The Apprentice, and a number of different documentaries to be submitted into film festivals such as Cannes, Edinburgh,London Short Film Festival, BFI etc)
Outside of AN Harry produces his own music, DJ’s regularly across London, is starting his own series of events and broadcasts on the radio occasionally too.
001 - Liam Klimek, Music Consultant
"This is a selection of tracks that have a cinematic quality to them. Perfect for roaming around town and pretending you're in a picture from Spike Jonze, Sofia Coppola or whoever directed Mean Girls... It's supposed to display a mix of light and dark and the colours in between. Whether I've achieved this, I'm not entirely sure! I hope you like it all the same."
This month's Selections come from AN Music Consultant, Liam Klimek. On a day to day basis, Liam is responsible for helping place tracks on commercials and has recently been involved with global campaigns for BMW, Durex and Mulberry.
Outside of AN, Liam runs online culture platform, Edifeye, with which he hosts a panel series inside the Apple Store and is soon to be launching a radio show with NTS. He also hosts the All My Friends parties at Ace Hotel and DJs around London from time to time.
